A limited edition range of retro mugs - created by Barry's Tea for their cultural series of events called 'Tea With…' - were so in demand they were mysteriously disappearing at every outing. Reprints later, the numbers of mugs continued to dwindle. As a result, Barry's Tea has decided to give Irish tea lovers what they want and make the coveted mugs available free with packs of Barry's Gold Blend Tea for a special nationwide promotion.

The statement mugs are retro in tone with a 'wallpaper' design reminiscent of 60's kitch prints. The free mugs come in a range of three distinct colours; monochrome with a splash of red; arresting orange and brown; and a groovy green and brown.

Camille O'Flanagan of Barry's Tea said, "When we first commissioned the tea mugs, we didn't think that they would start disappearing at every outing. Then, when we were being inundated with emails and Facebook requests for the mugs we felt it was only right to put them on pack. Also, because there are three colours, there is the opportunity to collect the set. Brightening up every tea break, the retro mug collection turns the moment golden."
