Beamish Cork Folk Festival Celebrates 30 years
The 30th annual Beamish Cork Folk Festival kicks off on Thursday 1st October and runs until Sunday 4th of October 2009 at some of Cork City's favourite pubs and showcases over 5,000 of the world's best folk musicians and dancers.
This year's folk spectacular will be bigger than ever featuring international and home-grown talent including Micheál Ó'SĪilleaháin, Mercury Music Prize winner Talvin Singh, Frankie Gavin, De Dannan and an eagerly awaited premiere of new composition commissioned by Lyric FM and the arts council.
