‘Get More’ with eircom Broadband Week
Today marks the start of eircom's Broadband Week celebrating eircom's bold steps to take the offline world, and make it even more accessible online for Ireland's two million broadband users. Over the next five days eircom's "Get More with eircom Broadband" strategy will be revealed with exciting announcements daily.
The week kicks off with eircom's first ever online media briefing to reveal insight to eircom's new online offering. The briefing is at Noon Monday broadcast from Dublin's trendy Budda Bag store and will be hosted by the hugely popular TV presenter, DJ and winner of "Celebrity Love Island" Jayne Middlemiss. Day two of eircom broadband week (Tuesday, 20th November) will see Irish Rugby star Malcolm O'Kelly and Dublin GAA legend Alan Brogan go head to head in eircom's Gaming Challenge celebrating eircom's new strategic partnership with Microsoft at the X-Box Centre, South William Street.
On day three eircom will announce details of a very exciting music competition for up and coming music artists.
Day four is "The eircom Golden Spider Awards" - Ireland's Internet Excellence Awards sponsored by eircom.
The final day of eircom broadband week will see an announcement regarding an Innovation Fund to help foster new business ideas for Ireland's online community.
